Jeananne’s design philosophy is to produce elegant, timeless and comfortable interiors which complement the architectural beauty of a building. Working closely with every client, she translates their individual design requirements into reality.
Expertise can be provided on all or on any part of a project. Jeananne can work independently or in collaboration with an architect, and can liaise with conservation/planning authorities, builders and specialist contractors. Services include interior design concepts; colour schemes; layout and detailed drawings; selection of finishes and materials; soft furnishings (curtains, carpets and upholstery), joinery and sourcing contemporary or antique furniture, artwork and lighting.
Originally graduating from Gray’s School of Art (Robert Gordon University), Jeananne gained an additional qualification in Interior Design whilst living in Australia. She practised as an Interior Designer initially in Sydney and later in Melbourne where she gained a Post Graduate qualification in Architectural History and Conservation from the University of Melbourne. Now based and practising in London, Jeananne continued her professional development at the Architectural Association in Bedford Square, gaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Conservation (which specialises in English listed buildings). She has most recently worked on high-end residential projects in Australia and London.
